Category: Budget Monitors

Buying a budget monitor in 2026 is harder than it should be. Half the screens under £150 on Amazon are rebranded junk with dodgy panels and response times that’ll make your eyes water. My job is simple: I dig through the specs and the real buyer reviews so you don’t have to. No lab equipment, no sponsored nonsense — just an honest breakdown of what you’re actually getting for your money.
Every monitor I recommend has to clear the same bar: decent panel quality, a refresh rate that won’t embarrass itself, and build quality that won’t fall apart after six months. If it cuts corners in a way that matters, I’ll tell you. If it’s genuinely the best you can get at the price, I’ll tell you that too. Budget doesn’t have to mean bad — you just need to know where to look.
