Category: Mid-Range Monitors
Mid-range monitors are where things get interesting — and where manufacturers get clever. You are spending enough to expect a decent panel, a proper stand, and specs that actually hold up, but not so much that every corner has to be cut. The problem is that this price bracket is full of monitors that look premium on paper and disappoint in practice. A fancy resolution paired with a mediocre panel, or a great refresh rate bolted onto a chassis that wobbles every time you type.
I focus on whether a mid-range monitor actually justifies the step up from budget. That means looking hard at panel quality, build quality, and whether the specs translate into a noticeably better experience at your desk every day. If a monitor genuinely earns its price tag in this bracket, I will say so. If it is just a budget monitor with a higher sticker price, I will say that instead.
